Grading Policy
Making the Grade:
Top Ten
Each Monday, you will receive an assignment called The Top Ten. Your Top Ten will help you to practice and review the skills that we have learned in class. The Top Ten is always due by the end of the school day on Friday.
Quizzes
Once we have completed a lesson for a particular skill, I will ask you to complete a quiz to show me whether you have mastered the concept. You will be able to use your notes and examples during quizzes. I will notify you of all quizzes through our weekly agenda.
Tests
At the end of each unit you will be given a final Unit Assessment. You will be notified of all tests through the agenda.
Our grades are meant to accurately show a student's knowledge of the content covered in class. Therefore, I will not be giving any extra credit throughout the school year.

Incomplete Work:
I am able to monitor your progress through classwork, practice, and homework. In order for me to do this, it is important that you complete all of our assignments. For that reason, if you do not complete an assignment, you may be assigned to Academic Overtime. While at Academic Overtime, you will be required to complete any missing work.
